Postcards from Florida
Here you see Stump Pass that gets you and your boat from Lemon Bay (The Intercoastal Waterway) out to the Gulf of Mexico. Manasota Key is the land mass to the North and Palm, Knight & Don Pedro Island is to the South of the pass. This is a very popular spot for boating on weekends; just to stop and let the kids swim or search for shells and sharks teeth.
These may come in handy during your day at the beach....Don't Forget- Englewood has 4 public beaches to visit: Stump Pass State Park at the farthest southern tip of Manasota Key; Englewood Beach; Middle Beach & Manasota Beach. Don't forget your hat, sunscreen, beach chair, towel and bucket for all you found treasures.
